Polytechnic's M.S. in Information Systems Engineering takes place in "executive format," where students take all required courses together throughout the program. This "cohort" model helps build teamwork skills and results in developing career-long professional relationships.

Students are expected to have substantial business experience prior to applying and many have the support of their companies for participating in the program. The executive format offers a number of unique attributes including:

• A convenient schedule of Friday and Saturday classes on alternating weeks. Since most students are working, the schedule needs to meet with the approval of their company's management.
  
• All books are included in the cost of tuition
  
• All meals are provided and included in the tuition
  
• You enter and complete the program with the same group of students, forming valuable business relationships in the process
  
• Students take on an extended research project designed to assist in solving an important business/technology problem at their current companies
