Overview
The Poly MBA curriculum is anchored in technology and innovation management and entrepreneurship. Through advanced individual and team-based coaching, Poly MBA students also encounter state-of-the-art intellectual thought leadership, numerous illustrative examples of best practices and sophisticated project-based education.
Format
To accelerate alumni in obtaining their MBA, the program will be
offered in a three-course per semester format delivered all day
Saturday. The program will start each fall and spring semester and
is expected to take five semesters (15 months) to complete. Three courses are offered in the fall and spring semesters, and one course in the summer. The global non-credit module will be offered in the winter intersession or during the summer session.
Admission to the Poly MBA
Polytechnic University in Westchester will be offering the Poly MBA with a focus of study in Technology, Finance, Firm Strategy and Leadership starting Fall 2008. Thereafter, admitted students can enter the Poly MBA at the beginning of any semester. Poly MBA students can enter the program on a full-time or part-time basis. GMATs are required, but may be waived under special circumstances. Also, qualified Poly MBA candidates who have previously earned
master’s degrees in management, management of technology, telecommunications and information management, organization behavior or other relevant fields, may be entitled to course waivers not to exceed 24 credits. Therefore, such candidates may be able complete a Poly MBA by taking as few as 10 additional courses.
