Research Interests
Determination of structure, function, and medical properties of biological macromolecules, with special expertise in hyaluronan polysaccharide. Biophysical and bioanalytical chemistry of macromolecules in solution, on surfaces, and in confined environments. Development of theoretical approaches to understand and control macromolecular crowding in polymer solutions and biological environments. Discovery and development of new biomaterials with medical applications.
