David G Lefer

David Lefer is a professor at New York University’s Polytechnic Institute, where he directs the Innovation and Technology Forum. Previously a journalist, he worked for the New York Daily News, the China News in Taiwan, and as a co-producer of the PBS talk show The Digital Age. For five years, he collaborated with Sir Harold Evans in the writing and research of They Made America, the bestselling history of American innovation which was made into a four-part PBS series. His newest book, The Founding Conservatives, about the birth of the American right during the Revolutionary War, is being published by Penguin in June 2013.
