Workshops
Whether you need help developing your study skills or managing your money, we have a workshop for you. Throughout the year we offer a wide range of workshops to help you develop the academic and life skills you need to succeed.
In addition to graduate school, career, and financial aid workshops offered throughout the year, we host a monthly series of workshops each semester.
Monday Madness – An academic workshop series that covers topics such as time management, test preparation, goal-setting, and procrastination. Held on the first Monday of each month.
Wednesday Wind Down – A stress-management workshop series that teaches students to reduce their stress levels through the use of instructional videos, games, and relaxation techniques. Held on a given Wednesday of each month.
Thank Goodness It’s Friday (TGIF) – An informational workshop series to help students learn various life skills that covers topics such as nutrition, CPR, and money management. Held on the last Friday of each month.
Friday Flix – A movie discussion workshop series that gives students the opportunity to view movies and participate in a discussion session with fellow TRIO students afterwards. Held on the first Friday of each month.
