Center for Drug Delivery Research (CDDR)

The Center for Drug Delivery Research aims to develop new drug delivery and targeting technology and to disseminate and apply this knowledge for the design, development and evaluation of novel systems for the delivery of therapeutic agents using a multidisciplinary approach. Solving problems of drug delivery/targeting involves many scientific fields including pharmacology, biology, materials science, chemical, mechanical and bioengineering.

Polytechnic Institute of NYU and SUNY Downstate Medical Center bring together a group of experts in these disciplines to address issues of drug delivery which will lead to new developments in translational research and will foster new collaborative projects with existing clinical disciplines.
