Intelligent power supply in wireless censors
Wireless network sensors are emerging as a convincing new hardware platform for remote environment monitoring. This power system will be adaptable to other energy sources such as the micro fuel cell or the energy harvesting sources. Crucial to long system lifetimes for these wireless network sensors are algorithms and hardware for maximum power savings.
RF DC-DC Converter Controller
A current controller with the 3dB bandwidth operating in the GHz range for PWM converter at 100 MHz is an ideal component for low power computing and communications with dynamic voltage scaling. This RF current controller is designed with the SCMOS rules on the AMIS 0.5 µm process, with near ideal output frequency characteristics. Also, the power dissipation, under absolute temperature conditions is simulated around 79 mW. Improvements upon the same are underway in terms of more power efficiency, size, and frequency.
SHE-PWM Technology in Single Phase Active Power Filter
In recent ten years, there has been a greatly increased demand for applying pulse-width modulation (PWM) technique to power electronics converters. Performance characteristics of a rectifier/ inverter power conversion scheme largely depend on the choice of the particular PWM strategy. In this project, we research the new optimal algorithm to calculate the programmed PWM problem. This new method is easy to realize; can control low-order harmonics and has optimal output waveform. At the end use this method in controller based on DSP to control IGBT inverter.
