Health Insurance

At Polytechnic, we are concerned about your health and protection against the high cost of medical care. Many students and their parents are just not prepared to meet the added expense associated with an unexpected injury or sickness. To ensure that all of our students are covered, the university requires that all students with 9 or more credits or those that are considered fulltime students carry appropriate health insurance. If you do not have your own coverage, the university has set up a plan that will provide the necessary health insurance. Click for more information

Health Immunization

New York State requires students attending colleges and universities in New York to comply with Public Health Laws 2165 and 2167 for measles, mumps, rubella and meningitis. These laws apply to all students registered for 6 or more credits and include graduates, undergraduates, and commuter, resident, domestic and international students. Counseling Services

The Counseling Center offers a variety of services designed to help Polytechnic Institute of NYU Students achieve their maximum potential both academically and professionally. Click for more information

Local Health Health Care Centers

Polytechnic does not have its own health center. Please view the attached list for local providers. The university has no affiliation with any of these centers. Each individual is responsible for selecting a center they are comfortable with and meets their medical needs. Please be sure that the chosen center accepts your health insurance plan.
