"Arriving in NYC in the fall of 2008, it was more alive and vibrant than I could have imagined.  At NYU-Poly, I discovered the Biotechnology MS program was better suited to students who want a career in research or a PhD.  After experiencing the city, I decided to build my leadership skills and opted for the Biotechnology and Entrepreneurship program.  Diving into the sea of Biotechnology was difficult, but I emerged from the waters victorious with a graduate degree in hand.

The courses offerings are all unique and have additive value for a career in industry, specifically, Biotechnology & the Pharmaceutical Industry and Biocatalysis.  For students pursuing a career in research and academia Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, and Immunology classes should not be missed.  To position myself for the best opportunity after graduation, I did a volunteer internship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Learning molecular biology techniques in the lab was the key to helping me get a Senior Technician/Lab Manager position at Columbia University Medical Center.

Studying at NYU-Poly taught me many life lessons and opened my mind to new concepts and technology.  I will never forget walking across the Brooklyn Bridge, discussing the previous weekís Pharma homework with my classmates, thinking of all the possibilities in the world."
