"The MS degree in Biotechnology was a life changing experience that taught me to think on a grand scale and to pursue my dreams.  I started the program in 2009 with difficulty, as an international student it was my first time taking classes in English. This initial challenge encouraged me to improve how I addressed my studies and the English language.  With the aid of professors and peers everything began improving.

Time flew like the wind, and with my first year completed, it was time to prepare for the future. The advanced education and research experience I gained at NYU-Poly made me realize it was just the beginning of my academic career.  With hard work, shining letters of recommendation, and an excellent GRE, I was admitted to the NYU Chemistry Department as a Fellow, complete with full coverage of tuition and insurance.  Now in my first year as a Ph.D candidate, I partake in lab work with Professor Adam Braunschweig studying Poly Pen Lithography.  My project is discerning which polymers are most effective as tips for writing patterns on gold surfaces or functionalized glass surfaces.  As part of the Biosensors course, we discussed lithography, which makes my current life much easier. At last, I would like to say that NYU-Poly provides the students with opportunity to excel and it is up to you to accept the challenge."
