Congratulations on your admission to Polytechnic Institute of NYU! New Student Orientation is designed to assist you in your transition and integration into the life of the Polytechnic community, and introduce you to the broad opportunities available at Polytechnic. New Student Orientation is not a one-time event, but rather a process that progresses throughout the summer and into the school year.

All students are expected to participate in each component of the New Student Orientation program. It is important because it allows you to become more comfortable with the campus and the Polytechnic community. Essential components of the program include an introduction to academic and student life, including opportunities for new students to interact with faculty, staff, and continuing students.

Most importantly, you will have a chance to meet fellow incoming students and current student leaders allowing you to create crucial friendships that last a lifetime.
