Alumni representing more than 55 years of Polytechnic's history gathered in Brooklyn to reminisce and reconnect with their alma mater. 

On Friday, members of the Class of 1962 - who are celebrating their Golden Jubilee this year - met at the Bern Dibner Library to tour the space and meet with Librarian, Jana Richman, and Archivist, Lindsay Anderberg.  Following their time at the library, alums traveled to 15 MetroTech Center where they met up with their classmates from 50 years ago while overlooking campus.  Alumnus, Marty Edelman, led the group in singing the Polytechnic Alma Mater, and many attendees reconnected for the first time since graduation was held at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.  After the Social, alumni walked to Junior's Restaurant, a former hang-out for many, where stories were traded over baskets of famed onion rings.

On Saturday, alumni from the Class of 1962 were joined by fellow alums from over 20 different classes.  The full day of activities included breakfast, a campus tour, and a classroom presentation by Prof. Matthew Campisi '96.  A busy schedule ended with lunch in 5 MetroTech where alumni were welcomed by Director of Alumni Relations, Valerie Cabral.  During the lunch, President Jerry Hultin spoke about Polytechnic's present influence throughout Brooklyn and the Institute's goals for the future.  Joined by PIAA President, Josiane Arbouet, President Hultin then inducted the Class of 1962 into the Golden Jubilee Society.  Two of the newest inductees, Charles Deber, and member of the Board of Trustees for NYU-Poly, Bernie Bulkin, spoke to the group about Poly during the 60s, the accomplishments of their class and the importance of staying connected to your alma mater.
