Washington DC area alumni met up for a cocktail reception on Wednesday, October 5th, hosted by Poly Alum Frank Cevasco '63 and his wife, Linda, in McLean, Virginia. Professor Mike Knox served as the evening's keynote speaker and lead a lively discussion about topics ranging from campus transformation to the state of engineering education in the US.  Alumni present included Carlos Aviado '91, Farah Faroul '06, Jaime Garcia '81, Chaturbhuj Gidwani '70, Gabriel Goldberg '68, Max Han '92, Eliot Malamud '73, Gary Mar '98, Steve Shupack '70, Brian Smith '78 & David Smith '92.  Everyone very much enjoyed Frank and Linda's hospitality as well as reminiscing and connecting with new friends.
