On Wednesday, June 22nd, NYU-Poly alumni gathered at Elaine’s on Franklin Street, in Chapel Hill, NC, for a dinner hosted by NYU-Poly representative Lorna Malcolm-Lessard. Albeit small, the party of 12 quickly got to know each other and to reminisce on the good 'ole days at NYU-Poly. The class years ranged from 1958 – 1999, but none of that mattered, except for one thing – NYU-Poly Pride! Lorna gave an update on NYU-Poly’s present and future. It was truly an evening of laughter, memories and stories about NYU-Poly – the classes they took in the old Livingston Street and razor factory buildings and the professors they had. It was also an evening where NYU-Poly alums in NC met for the first time, connected and pledged to continue connecting. And, that was what made the evening special and successful!
