NYU-Poly’s 2011 Promise Reception was held on June 15, 2011 at historic Skylight One Hanson in Brooklyn. This cocktail reception celebrated giving to the Institute and highlighted student scholars and their innovative research. The Promise Scholarship Fund is our largest scholarship initiative, providing financial support to over 8,000 students, many of whom are from traditionally underrepresented groups in science, engineering and technology — women, ethnic minorities, students of color and first-generation college students.
