Professor Gene R. DiResta, Industry Professor and Director of the Bioengineering Program at NYU-Poly, is engaging students in famous attractions, going off-campus to supplement in-class curriculum. Recently, graduate students taking his course on Anatomy, Physiology and Biophysics explored the Human Brain exhibit and the Hall of Human Origins at the American Museum of Natural History with a three-page Q&A scavenger hunt for guidance. The Bodies at the South Street Seaport also served as an interactive lab as students answered questions about anatomical structures and pro-sections on exhibits rather than traditional slides.
