Step 1: Open the iTrip 1. Crack open the iTrip’s plastic case by inserting a screwdriver or knife into the opening above the button on the device's side and turning. 2. Peel the top of the case off and free the jacks.

With the joyous birth of a new iPod generation comes the obsolescence of the accessories designed for its parent iteration. Turn one such accessory, an iTrip FM transmitter that lets you listen to your iPod through a radio, into an FM transmitter you can use for all sorts of things: wireless microphone, remote control, prototyping/product development, radio relay. Recent NYU-Poly graduate Ed Bear created this project.
