Posted January 21st, 2010
Every summer, members of the NYU-Poly faculty open up their labs to allow undergraduates 10 weeks of hands-on research under faculty mentorship. Students work full time in the lab with their faculty mentors on their research topics and also participate in weekly seminars presented by distinguished NYU-Poly faculty. In addition, bi-weekly lunches where students can present research to non-specialists and think cross-disciplines are held as well as special presentations on applying for graduate school complete with resume and statement of purpose critiques. At the end of the program, abstracts of the research are published and presented at the New Student Convocation.
