Orientation programs will remain independent. Within NYU each school conducts its own orientation program; there is no single, integrated NYU orientation. Each school also manages its own registration and advisement.

In general, most of the planned 2008-9 academic year Welcome Week activities will be open to Poly students. There are two exceptions, however: the NYU Reality Show and the Presidential Welcome both of which will continue to have a primary focus on Washington Square this year. In future years, these events may be modified to be more inclusive of Poly students as well.
