Fellowships and Assistantships

University merit-based fellowships and need-based awards are applied against tuition. Students may receive a University fellowship and/or award for up to four semesters. In order to provide the maximum amount of financial assistance possible, students may apply for every form of assistance for which they are eligible. For example, students could apply for a merit-based fellowship, a need-based award, an MRU Educational Investment, and a Stafford Loan. Polytechnic graduating seniors are accorded preference in the awarding of merit and need-based and may be eligible for enhanced awards. Polytechnic alumni are also given priority consideration.
