MA 0902 Introduction to Precalculus


Description:
Foundations of Algebra: exponents, multiplication of algebraic expressions, factoring algebraic expressions, working with algebraic fractions, proportionality, rates of change, equation of a line, completing squares, the quadratic formula, solving equations, system of linear equations, inequalities, domain and range of functions.

Credits: 4:0:0:2
Pre-Requisite: Placement exam
Co-Requisite: none
Notes: credit for this course may not be used to satisfy the minimum credit requirement for graduation.
