MA 7503 Manifolds and Lie Groups
Description:
Elementary theory of manifolds. Tangent space, mappings, submanifolds, fields, fiber bundles, Lie groups, homogeneous spaces. Elements of the theory of connections, Riemannian geometry. Imbedded manifolds. Calculus of variations. Harmonic forms, complex manifolds and Morse theory.
