WHAT IS THE SOCIETY FOR BUSINESS & TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT?

NYU-Poly Student
The Society for Business & Technology Management was created by management students at Polytechnic Institute of NYU in a continuing effort to grow in the knowledge of Business and technology management by bridging the gap between the classroom and industry.

Initial planning took place in the fall of 2003, when the constitution was written and ratified. A strategic goal was developed by the students that sought to provide services and opportunities that are tailored to needs of those with an interest in business and technology within the Polytechnic community. The club will be launched at the beginning of the spring 2004 semester. Membership is open to all students at Polytechnic Institute of NYU.

WHO IS IT FOR?

NYU-Poly Student
The Society for Business & Technology Management is perfect for those who are interested in fostering the growth of a nationally recognized management society.

Participating will not only give you the opportunity to meet fellow classmates and network with professionals both inside and outside of the University, but it will also enable you to continuously develop a unique perspective on the management of business and technology. Such an opportunity will help you further facilitate your pursuit of both theoretical and practical experience in this new emerging field

The needs of today's knowledge-based society has placed a premium on acquiring individuals with the ability to be innovative as well as to understand and manage effectively - both the business and technology aspects of a global firm. Our goal is to make our members, not only aware of such realities, but to be prepared beyond the classroom to become leaders and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
