CERTIFICATE IN MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING
GENERAL INFORMATION
The department offers certificate programs designed for the professional with work experience. A certificate program requires five courses, which are selected in accordance with the needs of the individual. Applicants for a certificate program must hold a bachelor’s degree. On completion of the sequence with a B average or better, the student is issued a certificate. Students who are later admitted to study for a master’s degree are usually able to apply all certificate course units toward the master’s degree. If students have taken the equivalent of any required courses as an undergraduate, they must work with their adviser to select substitute courses. Additional information is available from the department.
