Step 1: Log-in to PeopleSoft Student-Center
Your Student Center allows you to:
- Check for holds that may block you from registration.
- Check your registration appointment date and time.
- Confirm or update your contact information.
Step 2: Review the Course Schedule & Pick Your Courses
You have two options for searching the NYU-Poly course schedule:
- The most up-to-date course schedule is published for students in PeopleSoft Self-Service.
- The course schedule is also published on our website (no log-in credentials required).
Step 3: Visit Your Academic Advisor
Undergraduate students are required to meet with an academic advisor each semester prior to registration. An academic adviser must remove the Advisement (REG) Hold from your account before you will be allowed to register. Contact your major department to make an appointment with your advisor.
Although it is not required every semester, we encourage graduate students to meet with an academic advisor prior to registration. Meeting regulary with your advisor will help keep you on track for graduation and informed of academic policies.
Step 4: Register for Courses
You may register and change your schedule online via PeopleSoft Self-Service from any computer. Self-service kiosks are also availabe at the Registrar's Office during office hours. Register early to guarantee placement in your required or preferred courses. Late registrations are subjected to fees.
Check your schedule again to make sure all your registration transactions were successfull and that you enrolled into the proper courses and correct sections.
Email your registration questions to the Registrar’s Office at email@example.com or call us at 718-260-3486.
