International Wire Transfers

Polytechnic Institute of NYU has partnered with peerTransfer to streamline the tuition payment process for our international students.  With peerTransfer, you are offered excellent foreign exchange rates, allowing you to pay in your home currency (in most cases) and save a significant amount of money, as compared to traditional banks.  You will also be notified via email when your payment is received by the school.  Visit https://peertransfer.com/poly  for more information.

Students may also pay their tuition and fees by sending a wire transfer of funds directly to our bank.  For more information, please visit the Office of Student Financial Services, located in 256 Jacobs Building.

International Banking Demand Drafts

If you intend to pay by international banking demand drafts, you  must ensure the draft includes all of the following items:

  • check number
  • bank routing number
  • bank account number

All three items must be on the draft, beginning at the bottom left-hand side. Polytechnic Institute of NYU is not responsible demand drafts returned or deemed non-negotiable by our bank.

Tuition Deferment

Payment of tuition can be deferred if you have reimbursment benefits from your employer. If you wish to participate in the deferment plan, you will be charged a $150 deferment fee. You will need to print, complete, and submit the Graduate Deferment Plan Promissory Note along with proof of reimbursement benefits from your employer. (Letter from employer must specify exactly what will be reimbursed - tuition, tuition & fees, etc.)  Completed deferment forms should be submitted to Student Financial Services, located at 256 Jacobs Administrative Building.

Third Party Sponsorship

NYU-Poly will accept authorization to bill a third party (e.g. company, government agency, or organization sponsoring a student). The authorization must be in writing and state that the third party will pay NYU-Poly directly. Payment is due upon receipt of the bill and must not be contingent on grades. If for any reason payment is denied, you are 100% liable for your tuition bill.
