What Will You Do?

Submit your picture for the "What Will You Do" Video of all First Year Students!

Dear NYU-Poly First-Year Student,
I hope that you have been enjoying your summer. I am writing to you to invite you to participate in an important NYU-Poly tradition. At Convocation, our welcome ceremony for first-year students held on Monday, August 27th, there will be a music video presentation that will feature NYU-Poly's past inventors and entrepreneurs as well as our future ... YOUl You are the future stakeholders at NYU-Poly. We are honored that you have chosen to attend and we look forward to you going on to be successful inventors, engineers, and entrepreneurs.

To that end, we would like for you to be a part of this video presentation. We're asking that via this link (http://www.poly.edu/node/7809) you upload a photo (landscape orientation, preferably in a jpeg format) of yourself that you think best describes… you. Then, in under 50 characters, answer the question "What Will You Do?" Consider your answer carefully in the context of being a brand new, first-year student on an important threshold.

The video will also be previewed at our Parent Reception which will be held a few days prior to Convocation. Invitations have been sent to all your parents and they may RSVP for the reception (Friday, August 24th @ 7pm) by clicking here.  This video will ALSO be shown again during senior week when you graduate four years from now. I urge you to be a part of this important legacy.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, August 17th.

Very sincerely,
Anita Farrington
Dean of Student Affairs
