Summer Housing

Summer in New York has never been so convenient. Whether taking summer classes, or just enjoying the season, NYU-Poly on-campus housing is an affordable way to make the most of your summer.

NYU-Poly’s Donald F. and Mildred Topp Othmer Residence Hall is available from June 1 to the end of July at rates that are substantially lower than other short-term New York City housing options, making it an ideal place for interns, research assistants, conferences, and even tourists looking for the comforts of a modern housing facility situated in the heart of downtown Brooklyn, just minutes from Manhattan.

Summer housing availability is extended for NYU-Poly students who can take advantage of housing that coordinates in availability with scheduled summer classes.

Suites

Single Bedroom Occupancy: daily rate per person = $45.00 (minimum charge: 3 days)
Double Bedroom Occupancy: Daily rate per person = $40.00 (minimum charge: 3 days)

Apartments

Single Bedroom Occupancy: daily rate per person = $65.00 (minimum charge: 3 days)
Double Bedroom Occupancy: daily rate per person = $55.00 (minimum charge: 3 days)

Rates for NYU-Poly Students (2009)

All rates are for Apartments with Double Occupancy. Check-in time = 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; check-out time = 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Suites

• include a twin captain bed/dresser combo, desk, wardrobe, and shared bathroom

Apartments

• include a twin bed, dresser, desk, wardrobe, shared bathroom, shared living room, and shared kitchen

Single Occupancy

• 1 person occupies a bedroom and additional people occupy the other bedroom in the same suite/apartment

Double Occupancy

• 2 people occupy a bedroom and additional people occupy the other bedroom in the same suite/apartment

Amenities

• central air conditioning
• fully-wired rooms for personal computers, laptops, cable TV, and telephone access
• student lounges
• 24-hour security
