What to Bring

For those preparing to move into campus housing, we have compiled a list of items we think you’ll need to get settled. Suitemates should discuss larger items like mini refrigerators and mircrowaves. This will help to share their cost and avoid having several of the same items.

Bed and Bath

  • Twin extra-long bed sheets, comforter, and pillows
  • Towels
  • Bathrobe
  • Shower shoes
  • Laundry bag and detergent
  • Iron and small ironing board
  • Needles and thread, or safety pins
  • Band aids
  • Tylenol or pain reliever
  • Personal hygiene items (toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc.)
  • Toilet paper

Electronics

  • TV
  • DVD player
  • Stereo/speakers and headphones
  • Power strip/surge protector
  • Extension cord/s
  • Desk lamp
  • Alarm clock

Kitchen

  • Mini refrigerator (for students living in suites without kitchens)
  • Microwave (one per suite/apartment)
  • Coffee-maker
  • Can-opener

General

  • School supplies
  • Organizer or planner
  • Umbrella
  • Anything you need to feel at home
