All Polytechnic University faculty, staff and students may use this service to obtain materials not owned by Polytechnic or not available at your home campus.

How do I request materials not available at Bern Dibner Library?

Requests may be made by filling out our online request form.

What is the turnaround time?

Requests for articles take an average of two weeks to fill. Books take an average of three weeks to arrive.

How will the material be delivered to me?

Faculty and staff at the Brooklyn campus may have articles delivered to their offices via interoffice mail. Brooklyn students must pick up all interlibrary loan books and articles at the library's service desk.

All books borrowed must be returned to Polytechnic University Library.

What if I am at the Westchester, Long Island or Manhattan Campus?

If you are based at another Poly location, fill out the online request form. If you know that the item requested is available at the Brooklyn campus, please indicate this on the form.

We will mail your articles and books to your home at no extra charge. Articles may be faxed or emailed when possible.

Return all books to the nearest Poly campus. The materials will be forwarded to the Bern Dibner Library.
