Tips to survive finals

December 17th, 2007 · 2 Comments

Final exams are in full swing and the library is open 24 hours a day until it closes on Friday, December 21, at 10 pm. For tips on everything from how to increase your memory to creating online flash cards, visit this collection of Study Tips from Lifehacker. And don’t forget the importance of healthy eating during exams.

To make sure everyone enjoys using the Library during finals, please keep the following in mind:

  • Study rooms are for group use and individuals may be asked to leave if a group needs one.
  • You cannot “reserve” a room by leaving behind unattended items.
  • Never leave any personal property (especially laptops) unattended.
  • Please observe the three hour time limit on course reserve materials.
  • Do not cover glass on study room doors.
  • Be considerate of your neighbors and keep your voices down.

Good Luck with your exams!

Do not forget to get enough sleep before the finals. The mind works and thinks better with a full night of rest. Hope that helps.

I have to agree with Lilian that you need to get enough sleep. I once stayed up all night to study and cram for a test and when I went to bed at 4 in the morning, I overslept and missed my test. Luckily the teacher made an exception and allow me to take it later that day.
