The Dibner Library web site is getting a make over and we need your help. Your input will guide us as we make the web site easier to use and more responsive to your needs. Click here to take a brief survey or pick up a paper copy at the library service desk. Take a few minutes to complete the survey and congratulate yourself for helping build a better web site!

If that isn’t enough motivation for you, how about some extra shopping money just in time for the holidays? Three people who complete the survey will be selected randomly to each win a $75 gift certificate to Amazon.com. You must complete the survey by December 14 to be eligible to win. The survey should only take a few minutes to complete so don’t delay!

The website really has a great appearance compared to most other Poly Websites (if not all). It has graphics and interactive pictures and is at the threshold of being a great website.

However, to retain people coming back, you need to teach material through interactive videos. I want to see videos (developed by Poly Students) that show users how to do some interesting things (like how to make ice cream out of liquid nitrogen). This is a great way to get the Poly Community to show what it is capable of.

In addition, offer quizzes that test people’s knowledge of different areas (ie: engineering [computer, Mechanical, etc.], career related assessments and more)

This is what I would like to see the library website do to get more users and retain people
