Ph.D. thesis research:
In-vitro synthetic methods for oligopeptide synthesis

• Biocatalytic methods to synthesize oligopeptide macromers
  
• Use chemo-enzymatic strategies to conjugate oligopeptide macromers to form higher molar mass products
  
• Copolymerizations: oligomer structure, sequence, end-groups, comonomer reactivity relationships
  
• Enzyme-substrate specificity studies

Professional Experiences:

• From January 2004 to January 2005 (Polytechnic University, with Prof. M.M. Green) worked on following projects :

1. Synthesis and polymerization of binaphthyl substituted phenyl acetylenes .

2. Synthesis of chiral peptide nucleic acid (PNA) monomers.

• From June 2003 to December 2004 (Center of Biochemical Technology, Delhi) worked on following project entitled. “Solid Phase Synthesis of Novel Antimicrobial Peptides”.
