The Bern Dibner Library of Science and Technology

Visit the Library
The Bern Dibner Library of Science and Technology is Polytechnic’s information hub, accessible online from anywhere, on or off campus, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, wireless networks allow users with notebook computers to access the library’s electronic services from anywhere on campus. The library’s web site (www.poly.edu/library) offers up-to-date traditional and electronic services and resources. Online users have access to the content of e-journals, much of it in full text, and to course materials, including online courses. To provide access to as many electronic publications as possible, the library has partnered with regional and global cooperatives. Skilled librarians and information professionals provide support through one-on-one assistance and workshops. There is an in-house collection of more than 150,000 books and journals. Literature not available in Polytechnic’s collections is routinely and efficiently obtained from a network of libraries by a document delivery service.
