MASTER OF SCIENCE IN FINANCIAL ENGINEERING: Financial Information Services and Technology

The Financial Information Services and Technology (FIST) track is designed to prepare those working professionals in financial services who aspire to a diverse range of information technology careers. Such professionals need a basic knowledge of financial products and the markets in which these products are transacted along with a solid and sophisticated foundation in information technology. The concepts of computer networking, software engineering, database security and information privacy are addressed along with critical issues of operational risk management.

Master’s in Financial Engineering: 36 credits
All tracks will include in their program:

  1. 5 Core courses, each 3 credits
  2. 5 Required courses, each 1.5 credits
  3. 2 Required Applied Labs, each ¾ credits
  4. 4 Elective courses, each 1.5 credits
  5. 1 Capstone worth 6 credits
