STUDENT ADVOCACY
The Office of Student Development serves as the contact for students that may have concerns about their experience at NYU-Poly both in and outside the classroom. We strive to create a comfortable and friendly environment at Poly. There are times when students need assistance with concerns that may interfere with their success as students at Poly. After consulting with a staff member, students can receive assistance in the following areas:
Absence Notification to the Faculty
Student Religious Observance
Student Grievances and Complaints
Involuntary Withdrawals
Reporting Incidents and Crises
If a student brings to your attention one of these issues, you need to have them contact Student Development. It is the responsibility of Student Development to verify the request and work with you and the student to ensure that the proper accommodations are put in place.
