Profile

Alex Delis received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD in 1993. He holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece. His research interests are in database management systems, client-server databases, interoperability of systems, and software engineering and development. He joined the Department of Computer Science at the Polytechnic Institute of NYU in Fall 1995. From 1993 to 1995, he lectured in the Faculty of Information Technology at the Queensland Univ. of Technology in Brisbane, Australia. He is a member of IEEE Computer Society, ACM, Technical Chamber of Greece and the New York Academy of Sciences.
