FIRST LEGO League introduces 9- to 14-year-old students to real-world engineering challenges by building LEGO-based robots to complete a variety of tasks that simulate a real-life technological challenges.
The key to the 2009 "Smart Move" Challenge is accessing people, places, goods, and services in the safest, most efficient way possible. In this journey, teams will consider many modes of transportation beyond their daily routine and streamline their options by making smart moves!
The kids are judged on their research, robot design, robot performance, and teamwork.
This event is coordinated by Polytechnic Institute of NYU's David Packard Center.
