Apply for a Degree or a Certificate

In order to pursue a graduate certificate or a master degree, students must be admitted to Polytechnic Institute of NYU as a degree-seeking graduate student. Click here to get to the online application.


Application Checklist

The following items should be sent directly to the Office of Graduate Admissions:

1. Complete application form with Application Fee ($50.00).

2. Transcripts of undergraduate records, and graduate records, from all the educational institutions.

3. Two letters of recommendation.

4. A statement of interest.

5. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
Required for all.

   Image International application with a bachelor's degree from an institution in a non-English speaking country or speak English as a second language.

6. Graduate Record Exam (GRE)
Required for all,

    ImageMS applications for Financial Engineering.
    ImagePhD applicants.
    ImageInternational applicants.

7. Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
Reduired for,

    ImageMS applicants for Management and Financial Engineering.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

   ImageGRE scores are for gradute assistantships or research fellowships.
   ImageGRE/GMAT scores are valid for FIVE years from the tests date.
   ImageOfficial scores are supposed to be submitted directly from the Educational Testing Service (ETS).

Take an eNYU-Poly course
If you just want to take a course as a non-matriculated student, you do not need to apply for admissions to Polytechnic Institute of NYU. You may take up to 3 courses (9 credits) as a non-matriculated student before applying for admissions into a graduate program.
