BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
ADMISSION
Admission to BS programs in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering is handled by the Polytechnic Office of Admissions. Information about entrance requirements and financial aid can be obtained from their Web page.
Advanced placement credit and transfer credit for courses taken at other colleges and universities are granted on a course-by-course basis. Requests for evaluation of potential tarnsfer credits should be addressed to the Office of Admissions. If engineering courses are proposed for transfer credit, the Office of Admissions will seek evaluations from Undergraduate Advisers in the EE Department. In some cases, the applicant will be asked to bring additional information about previously taken courses to a meeting with an EE adviser.
Polytechnic has Articulation Agreements with several colleges and universities in the New York City region. Students who successfully complete a specified program at one of those schools are eligible for transfer credit for a set of courses.
