Director, Wireless Internet Center for Advanced Technology (WICAT)

Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University is looking for an outstanding leader who will serve as Director of WICAT. WICAT is a multi-university R&D center supported by the National Science Foundation, under its program of Industry/University Cooperative Research Centers (I/UCRC), and industry memberships. The person will be a catalyst in fostering multi-university and industry research.
Due to a recent merger of Polytechnic University with New York University, as the Polytechnic Institute of NYU, the successful candidate will have excellent opportunities to initiate interdisciplinary research and educational collaborations with the many schools, institutes and departments under the NYU umbrella.

Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University announces open tenure-track faculty positions in the areas of computer engineering and wireless communications. For the computer engineering position, areas of interest include, but are not limited to, microarchitecture, parallel processing, chip multiprocessors, and embedded systems. The successful candidate will contribute to substantial on-going efforts in high performance computing and other topics in computer engineering.

Postdoctoral Research Position

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University is seeking applicants for a post doctorate position in the area of parallel processing. Among the position requirements are a PhD in computer science, electrical engineering or computer engineering and a strong background in multiprocessor architectures, compilers and operating systems. The successful candidate will participate in the research and development of a high performance computing system being developed within our department.
