FELLOWSHIPS AND SCHOLARSHIPS
RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS
This award is paid from research contracts and grants obtained by individual ECE faculty. Faculties have full autonomy in appointing their Research Fellows.
Faculties are generally reluctant to fund Research Fellowships from their grants unless the student has been in their classes, and has passed the doctoral qualifying examination. However, exceptions may be made for outstanding applicants, and applicants are encouraged to contact faculty in their area(s) of interest. The fellowship covers a monthly stipend (commensurate with the student qualification) and waiver of tution and fees.
