EL 6753 UHF Propagation for Wireless Systems


Description:

UHF radio applications for cellular mobile radio telephones, wireless local area networks and personal communications networks. Propagation and reflection of plane waves and spherical waves; antennas for transmitting and receiving; path loss and link budgets; Huygens' principle; Fresnel zone and diffraction of plane and spherical waves; mathematical models of UHF propagation over a flat earth, around buildings in cities and within buildings; influence of propagation on capacity of cellular systems.
