Conversion of load (resistive) torque, inertia, mass, and force to a rotating shaft; Acceleration
and deceleration times; motor power-rating selection; thermal consideration at different
duty cycles; load diagram construction; four-quadrant speed control operation for DC and
AC motors; Worked examples.
