Ulifeline : Self-Help for Students

Polytechnic Institute of NYU students, faculty members, and staff members can access Poly's Ulifeline

Ulifeline is a comprehensive website offering information about common student concerns, including mental and emotional health, alcohol and drugs, relationships, and sexuality.

Ulifeline also features a Self e-Valuator, a diagnostic self-test that can be used by students or concerned others. The user enters information to determine whether a person’s feelings, thoughts, or behaviors suggest the presence of common mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress, etc. If indicated, the self-evaluator will suggest a student visit Poly’s Counseling Center. Students can print out the results of the evaluation and bring them to their first meeting with a counselor
