e2Campus Emergency Text Message Service (Posted July 1st, 2008)All Faculty, Staff, and Students; As a reminder, please be advised that the Institution has a state-of-the-art notification system that is capable of sending messages instantly and simultaneously to all registered mobile phones, Blackberry's, wireless PDAs, pagers, Smart / Satellite phones and email addresses. These announcements can be set to also "pop up" to anyone using Google, Yahoo, or AOL as their home page as well as anyone using an RSS client.
This is the method that will be utilized by Polytechnic Institute of NYU to contact and notify all constituents during emergency or critical situations. If you have not done so already, PLEASE REGISTER FOR THIS IMPORTANT SERVICE - the process only takes a minute to complete. This will be the surest way for you to receive notifications critical to your safety and well being.
