Ph.D QUALIFYING EXAMIMATION

All students in the Ph.D program have to pass a rigorous qualifying examination, which is administered by the department on an annual basis.

Students admitted to the program by Fall 2006 have the option of taking the exam by the old rules if they prefer to do so.
