Admission to the Biomolecular Sciences program is based on academic record, standardized test scores, and other criteria. Applicants for admission as freshmen are required to take the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT1). The American College Testing (ACT) Program may substitute the SAT1. Students who are admitted to Polytechnic and plan on enrolling are required to take two placement examinations prior to registration. Prospective students may also interview with a member of the Admissions staff.

Courses offered prepare students for graduate studies, entrance to medical and other health-care professional schools or to directly work in industry.
