GENERAL INFORMATION
Our world-renowned faculty is conducting active research in biocatalysis, protein engineering, biosensors, photophysics, polymer physics, electroactive polymers, nanocomposites, stereospecific synthesis of polymers, natural and unnatural biopolymers, polymer therapeutics, etc. We are proud of our pioneering achievements in polymer science. In particular, the world’s first measurement of molecular weight of a polymer was done at Polytechnic University at the end of World War II. Recently, the American Chemical Society honored us by designating Poly’s Polymer Research Institute a National Historic Chemical Landmark.
