Engineering & Technology Fall Career Fair

Thursday, September 19, 2013, 11am-3pm

Students are invited to attend this fair to meet with a large number of employers from diverse industries. Explore full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities in fields including Engineering, Computer Hardware/Software, Technology, Science, Management, and Digital Media among others.

How to Make the Most of a Career Fair

Employers are very interested in finding out about you and your career interests. They also want to share important information about their organization and available opportunities.

  • Dress professionally in business attire. Students wearing jeans, sneakers, and other casual clothing will not be admitted to the career fair.
  • Have your resume reviewed and bring several copies to distribute. See sample resumes.
  • Prepare a personal pitch to introduce yourself when meeting professional contacts for the first time. Greet them with a firm handshake, make good eye contact, and smile.
  • Visit the Wasserman Center at NYU-Poly during walk-in hours for assistance in preparing for the career fair.
